Bookings
Bookings are only accepted with the payment of a 25% deposit (by credit or debit card), with the outstanding balance to be paid on arrival. When a booking is accepted and a deposit paid, you enter a legally binding contract with Heatherfield House. Please note that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 16.
Non Smoking Policy and Pets
Smoking is not permitted within any part of Heatherfield House. Please note that any offending guests will be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for professional cleaning of the room and outstanding balance for nights booked but not taken through early departure, these costs will be charged immediately and in cases where it is found that smoking has taken place a third party will contact you to recover costs. Pets are not permitted.
Conditions of Stay
We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately in cases of unacceptable behaviour with no liability for refund accepted by ourselves.
Arrivals
Check in time is between 16:00 and 19:00. Arrivals outside of these hours MUST be agreed prior to booking. Your booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by you the guest, from 1900 on the date of arrival unless we have been contacted to inform us of a late arrival.
Departures
Guests are requested to vacate rooms by 10:00 on morning of departure.
Personal Property
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to guests personal property or vehicles.
Faults
Any faults should be reported immediately.
Cancellation.
For bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival we will strive to rebook the room, however, no deposit will be refunded unless the room is rebooked. Bookings cancelled 24 hours or less prior to arrival or for a no-show will be charged for the full cost of the booking unless the room can be re-let. For bookings cancelled outside of the 14 day period, a full refund minus an administration charge of £10.00 will be made. As a booking constitutes a legally binding agreement we strongly advise guests have suitable travel insurance to cover the cost of unforeseen circumstances that may result in cancellation.
Damage and Theft
In the event of damage, accidental or wilful, we reserve the right to pass on costs incurred to rectify such damage. In the event of theft of property belonging to Heatherfield House we reserve the right to pass on the costs of replacements with new goods. These charges will be requested immediately where payment by card has been made and a third party will be instructed to recover costs in all other instances.
These terms and conditions are in place to protect all parties and in making a booking at Heatherfield House you are deemed to be accepting them.
